Purpose: Prep Student School Welcome
Of all the books and publications I have collaborated with over the past few years, this particular project stands out as especially rewarding, as it delves further into the specialized area of illustration for young readers.
BRIEF
The Moreton Bay College Old Girls Association sought a fresh approach to introduce new Prep students to the college, providing them with some history and an introduction to the rich culture and its people. In previous years, a presentation had been shown on the first day. This time, MBC Old Girls Association aimed to create a printed book that would incorporate illustrations to engage younger students. Historic photos were to be woven into the narrative to bring the story to life and evoke a sense of nostalgia for the former students of the school.
